You can't ban all the players for Duping.

They can go ahead and check my logs /brushes shoulder. I'm clean as could be. However, realistically you can't ban everyone who was duping, as many tribes only duped in response to other tribes duping. If you were competing on your server and your enemy suddenly started duping, you were put into a position where you either duped to maintain relevancy or you lost your position on that server entirely. In a competitive situation, losing due to a game(or server?) flaw is unacceptable. In fact, it would be unintelligent to not take advantage of the same issues your enemies were. It would literally be opting to lose.

That sounds like a excuse from professional athletes and children.. everyone else did it I need a competitive edge... BAN EM ALL .... Cheaters deserve that at a bare minimium.. at the very least ban steam name from public servers.

I doubt people will get banned for non-third party exploiting in an alpha test. These are the things they look for to fix.

I actually don't think they will too. This was to be suspected. it's not like it was Aimbot. However, a lot of people will be demanding bans.

sure you can, taking advantage of a flaw cause someone else is makes no diference in a crime. its like having a unlisenced gun and using it in self defence, you wont get away with self defence since you used a tool that was not legal in your hands. its simple winning or loosing has nothing to do when asking yourself should i go as low as my enemy just to stay in the fight? they should just ban all dupers delete all duped items and let everyone who didnt dupe play normaly.

Ok, in fairness to the guy, it is alpha, so he shouldn't be banned. He should be rewarded for pointing it out. Like a thank you from devs. But! Continued use should be bannable.

Just cause you're opponents are doing it, doesn't mean it's ok. Silly excuse.

I seem to have missed the whole duping thing. So I'm wondering what 'duping' referred to. Did you dupe dinos, or items? Cause that'd be cool. What did we 'dupe'?

Tbh... things kept going the way they were, I would've started to. When your enemies show up with an unlimited supply of c4.... Well all the ****s go out the window.

I don't think they'll ban either, but man it sure is all over the forums. I just wanted to explain to people another perspective. There's another good 2 or 3 I could add too, but man that'd been a long read. Perhaps they would've been better arguments from a moral standpoint though. xD

I already know about his post and been referring people to it on the matter. you don't know what they are going to talk about on monday other then a wipe and a fix for the dupe. The Right hand is 1 of many people who will discuss that subject and they all will make the final judgment on the matter. When you see people make post like this your pretty much Oping Yourself out to the community trying to justify your actions in hope if they do ban people you wont be one of them.
but the game is EA so you really should not worry and if you are play on Unofficial servers.

I'm only away of items. And it may have been limited in it's way, i'm not entirely sure myself. I know you could dupe materials and that is by far the biggest issue here. Unlimited ammo anyone? lol
