Pteranodon GONE!

I got attacked by a dilo and got blinded. After killing the dilo, my pteranodon was gone. HELP!

hmm that's the common behavior of pteranodon, if it got attacked or got hit, it will fly in random direction XD (run for you life), the way to fix this is to make them follow you when you land

I almost lost my Pte 3 times already
He/She will prob fly in random direction around the area you're in, you prob need to spend sometimes to find him XD (longest time was 5-10min for me)

good and bad thing about raptors, if they get attacked, they wont flee, rather they will chase the target and kill if they can... unfortunately they keep chasing the target even when you call them.

I can't find him.. i kept looking and kept whistling for 1hr and I still can't find him.

He will have landed somewhere. In my experience, they are always just and I mean JUST outside of epic view distance just chilling there. And 9 times out of 10 are never in the direction they flew towards. If there was a way to slightly increase view range and remove obstructions, you would always see your escaped Pteranodon.

In my experience, dino's are not affected by view distance at all.

Othere dino's yes but escaped Pteranodon tend to not fly far unless constantly attacked. I've witnessed a friends one hover above attack location for nearly an hour until he came back to call it and my one tends to chill down by the river just out of my view range when it gets a bit skittish.

flying pets are glitched... they can get out from any closed room (building)

i missed 2 times my dinos cuz of this bug

my pteranodon is out of whistle range in the air. Im staring at it right now. this is my 4th. I am a little upset.

holy thread necro... get a spyglass, build ladders, get another flyer, ride on a tall dino to get closer to it, do i need to tell you even more possibilities or will you solve the "problem" on your own?
