Local AND PvE Hosting

I play local. I love the game. But you only have one toon in local. I was thinking about hosting a pve server. My concern is that it will affect my local 'save'. Anyone know if you can host a game AND still keep your local game as well?

yes the toons are saved on the server or in your local settings for your single player save. I have a private server PvPvE but we are only doing PvE only. Everyone is very friendly and helps out with tames and exploration. We are a very small server but we are looking for more to help populate our little Ark. We would love for a few groups of friends to come join in on the fun. The server is US based and is up 24-7.
