Console command to add engram points.
Playing single player and would like to know the console command to add engram points so I can try out all the crafting.

GiveEngrams unlocks all crafting recipes for your character -* Bugged - You can't craft these recipes

Is this still true? If unlocking via this means one can not craft the admin added recipies?

I"m in single player and am at highest level and am down to 22 engram points but
want a few more engrams to have on hand.
Before I go adding them all via that command I'd like to know if this is still bugged out as

You can add some lines to a game.ini file or something that is like OverrideEngram = 20 to give yourself more. It's an index so you have to enter those in with all 70 lines for it to work right. One for each level. There is a thread around here with a pastebin and some easy to follow instructions. It's what I'm using and you can get 100% engrams at lvl 70. Every single one.

Without customising your inis or downloading a mod all you can do is give yourself all the experience using the exp command.

That won't let you get all the engrams though but you can get blueprints for those via commands too.

giveengrams works fine.

I think people where justs being dumb, people complaining the couldn't make metal tools and such, not realising they have to to the smithy or other crafing station to make them.

The one issue with giveengrams is that you now have to use the cheat once every login. This seems to be recent change but now when you log off the engrams unlearn again (though you don't seem to recive any item messeges after the first time which suggest you still have them but they are somehow locking off, no clue what is going on but using it again unlocks them again fine).

lvl 80, ran out of points, not enough to get them all.

They need a new setup of them, then. They had a bonus 250 something at lvl 70 to cover any new engrams that might come up but they must have underestimated it.

Yep, everything works with giveengram. People just didn't know metal is built in FABRICATOR. XD

then u have changed how many engram points you are getting per level... when u saved that .ini, it will then use the new points given...
If you, like alot of server owners do, make it so you will have enough points to learn all, and then changed how much u get per level, u will end up in -points...
All you need to do to fix this, is to go into the .ini file, and up the amount of points per level for a few of them..
ie.
you have given yourself 50 points per level the last 10 levels... raise this to 55 points per level and you will be in the positive point score.
