I am running "Linux arch-micro 4.1.6-1-ARCH #1 SMP PREEMPT Mon Aug 17 09:07:24 CEST 2015 i686 GNU/Linux" Ran into the EXACT same thing as you.
So what you need to do is do a
file ShooterGameServer
What you will find is that the f-ing game is compile for 64 bit ELF Linux and that these chuckle heads writing this game didn't bother to update their documentation.
I myself was running a 32 bit server because most of these game servers are 32 bit not 64. Not at all complaining that ARK moved to 64 bit... but damn it, update your documentation.
And for the newblets... PLEASE don't give people advice when you yourself are without a clue.
One last thing... for adm.xtoor... found a doc on the Arch wiki talking about placing a 32 bit environment using pseudo root inside of a 64 bit installation. Looks SLICK!!! That's what i'm building now for my ARK server... thank god i'm using Xen and the main game install is on a NAS or i'd be ready to head hunt these dev of ARK if I had to redo the platform on the metal.
