This way yes, it is possible to connect them together in +-45° angles or straight. It is a bit tricky, but you'll see at some moment that it is connected before you install it.
Otherwise, it is up to you to leave a very small gap between them if you want some other angle than 45°-straight walls.
But anyway, even on uneven ground you can connect them. But then, you'll need for instance 1 wall up onthe hill, then 2 walls, then 3... to keep the same height overall.
