PvE Steel Vault is useless

Vault = 100 slots, same floor space than 2 rows of 5 large storage boxes... 100 < 300 slots! :/

I haven't made a vault but they are supposed to be much more durable, harder for people to break into. I thought that was the main purpose.

So in your in a PvE server and you decide to build a steel vault that is made to protect from other players?

NO I didn't build one at all. If I had built one, I would have built it expecting that it would provide more storage per ammount of space than wooden cabinets.

And it does not, hence thread title. For PvE purposes the vault is useless. Why did the devs make an only PvP useful item for a game that is primarily PvE?

I play on pve too but you sir are just whining. if its for pvp only then dont make it problem solved. I only play pve but even I know this game is made for primarly pvp.

the game is primarly pvp though, their wasnt even pve option till a couple weeks before launch people requsted it and the devs said why not. not really a problem although i do think it should hold a lot more

if you destroy the foundations underneath the vault with grenades when they are destroyed it destroys the vault, they are fixing this in the next patch though

Not whining stating a fact. Why would I bother with all the resources to make a vault when I could get tripple the storage from wooden cabinets?

This is feedback. The vault is useless to anyone in PvE unless they want it purely for aesthetics. It is a waste of space and resources for what it gives you. If you had the option to create THORS HAMMER for 900 metal, or a pike, and the pike did more damage, you would be disenchanted by thors hammer the same way I am disenchanted by the vault.

The point of the vault is protection and not storage capacity. You're right that in most strictly PvE situations you won't ever needed to build one. I don't see the problem.

Waste of dev time to build something that leaves out a large part of their playerbase. This would be the very first PvP only item I suppose.

Guns are also PvP only items when in contrast with tranq arrows.

Still, I see much more PvP servers than PvE, I think it's fine as it is.
