Help?
I have a HP Envy x360 TouchSmart laptop and i bought Ark and its really laggy if i dont have everything on low so any tips?

Keep it on low.
The game is not optimized to perform efficiently at higher levels.

In game press TAB
Type stat fps an press enter, this will show your FPS performance, from here you can play with settings to make the game look nicer but keep an acceptable FPS level.

Your laptop uses integrated graphics, not a discreet GPU. You don't even meet minimum specs. Buy a gaming laptop/pc.

type -d3d10 in launch Options in staem itll help. Itll be darker but itll make it playable.

I can confirm this. I have the same laptop and played Arma 3 on a f2p weekend. I have no bad lag other than on Rust after its update awhile back, which is what brought me to check this out. Was looking to see if there's some fix since right now I can run medium if i set the resolution scale to half and put shadows on the low setting.
