Floating Metal Walls/Ceilings

So we have a wood base, in the middle of the 2nd floor we have a man made metal vault (4 walls, 1 roof and 1 ceiling)...

If somebody was to knock out the floor pieces surrounding our man-made vault on the 2nd floor would it get blown up as well? Just by simply taking out the wood around it? Or will it remain floating on its own?

What steps do we need to take to ensure its security from dino's

Well the guy said when the floor the vault was one was destroyed the vault blew up...but maybe I'm not understanding your question....oh wait your not talking about the "vault" object are you, my bad.

Structures need support just like in real life. If some one destroys enough of your ground floor walls or posts the floor above will explode, the upper area being made of metal would give no additional protection, it would collapse like everything else.

Yeah that would seem wise. Make sure you use metal foundations under that part as well if your worried about people with explosives.
