Can you steal saddles from a tamed dino?

ive had a few discussions about this and people say you cant, but our argentavis saddle was stolen right from our argentavis.

I guess if you put it unconscious you should be able to access its inventory and steal the saddle.

Or just kill it.

Thats why you should stable anything you have next to your other tamed dino's and set them to neutral, so if anything attacks your dino then the entire herd will attack the person/dino attacking.
