Leveling Up Dino Guide
This guide is going to be a compilation of players experience on leaveling up dinos. Every single tip or advice will be helpfull. Also sorry for my bad english, its not my mother lenguage but i'm trying to do my best!.

since there are different abilities for each dino, there are different ways to earn experience faster for them and we are going to find out the best playing and sharing what we learn about them. there will also be tips to increase our dino states properly.

you will wonder why is usefull to lvl up a dino, a dino with the proper stats and a high level can be de difference about live and death, or just can do they work quicker and better, such as collecting berrys, kill other dinosaurs or survivors or defending our base against another tribe raid.

I ask to the other players to share they knowledge in order to create an usefull guide! i'll start with the things i already know and then will add your tips and experiencies.

-Ankylosaurus: this mate is good for tank dinos and defense, but they're slow. it has the ability to brake large rocks into flint. the way to earn experience faster is riding, killing other dinos and breaking rocks. You may be interested in raise his HP, DMG and Stamina stats for a good base defense dino.

-Argentavys: Not tamed yet, but i guess that flying and ataccking dinos or structures will be a easy way to earn exp. There are a lot of topics saying this is one of the most OP "dinos" in the game so maybe you want to maximaze his DMG, Stamina, HP, and Velocity

-Bat: not info yet.

-Brontosaurus: The largest dino in the game, hard to get, but when you got one it will be of the most powerfull dinos in your army. They will earn a lot of exp being ride, collecting berrys tach and wood, killing other dinos, destroying structures. its also a good dino for defense our base so we will focus in raise the HP,DMG, and Stamina.

-Carbonemys: This turtle can swim very fast and be tough facing other dinos, i'm not sure if it can actually dive. Riding, killing and swiming will be the best ways to earn experience.

-Carnotaurus: One of the best hugest carnivors. They're very strong and fast, one of these with nice lvl and stats can easily take down a Trex. Riding, killing and destroying structures will be the best ways to earn experience. For maximize his stats we will focus on HP,DMG,Stamina and Velocity.

-Mammoth: Not info yet.

-Megalodon: Not info yet

-Parasaur: One of the earliest mounts in the game, parasaurs are nice to carry a medium amount of weight and also are good runnerr but they aren't good at fighting other dinos, its true that they can defense once tamed but there are best options. riding and killing some dilos eventually will be a nice way to earn exp. The stats i recoment to raise are Weight, Stamina and Velocity.

-Phiomia: Pretty much like parasaur but they're so slow, such a boring dino

-Pteranodon: Not tamed yet.

-Pumonoscorpius: Going for one today, i'll posting info early

-Raptor: For most, one of the essentials in every tribe, they're very usefull in most of situations cause they're very fast, strong and easy to get, there are post saying that a well trained raptor can take down a TRex or a Bronto easily. For earn a lot of exp take your raptor whatever you go, it will be helpfull in exploration, defending or atacking, and so many more.
the stats depent on the use of the raptor, if you want a offensive raptor the focus on DMG and HP, if you want a quicker explorer raptor then focus on HP, Stamina and velocity.

-Sabertooth: Not tamed yet, but as far as i know its very similar as the raptor.

-Sarcosuchus: Not tamed yet.

-Spinosaur: not tamed yet.

-Stegosaurus: One of the best options in the Mid-game, they're strong and can carry a lot of weight but they're slow. Stegosaurus are good for farming a lot of berrys and tach, and defending our base from dangers. The ways for earning exp faster are riding, collecting berrys, wood and tach and killing dinos. In these one we will raise HP,DMG and weight for an strong defender and great collector stegosaurus.

-Triceratop: Its pretty much like the stego, trikes collect berrys, tach and wood too, but they're a little bit faster, use the same ways as the stego to earn exp and raising his stats.

-T-Rex: not tamed yet, need one of these beast!!

please share your experiencies, advices and tips, as soon as i see nice ones they will be added to the list. sorry for the bad english again.

In my experience, the Rex starts with 400-500 carry weight, and 400-500 stamina, and they're already fairly fast. All you really want to upgrade on them is the damage and HP.

Argentivis. It seems just sprinting gives it a bunch of XP. flying from the east shore to the volcano and back loaded with metal nets me 1-2 levels each time

I play single player, patch 291.100
Seems to me like Doedicurus gets about 10 XP for about every 100 stone it harvests when I ride it. So raising DMG and Weight works good here.

Wow necro. The problem with the necro is most info in post from 2015 isn't vaild any more.

Weight and damage are always the go to stats for harvest dinos.

I had one Rex that I levelled up only weight. I would go into the woods with an anky or doedi or beaver, and use the Rex for defense and hauling. When the anky doedi or beaver was full, put everything on the rex and continue. Worked pretty well. Somewhat unconventional.
