How long does it take you to initially load a server?

With the BP bits and all that?

Wondering for comparisons sake. Previously it took about 25 mins to initially load a server. Then provided shootergame stayed open about 5 mins a server.

As of version 176 it is taking upwards of 45 minutes just to load and is frequently crashing. A mite bit annoyed. Don't even want to play anymore tonight, Just want to move my dinos and people back to base

2-3 minutes from when I load up the game through Steam to walking around ingame with my SSD. Add another 2-3 minutes when it was on my mechanical drive.

My Server loads in around 2,5 minutes and my game in 2. i installed it on my SSD. It just crashed if i close the Server with the quit Commando.

even on a virtual machine on standard SATA HDD my server loads up in about 5 mins

Incredibly jealous.

I run fine IN game on high, sometimes medium. But the Primalgamedata_bp load times are driving me up the wall.

Let's just say I haven't really played 60 hours of Ark. More like 40 hours played and the other 20 was sloooooowloading

check ur HHD performance counters. Might be they hit 100% all the time so something might go cracy

Friend of me rent a gameserver and the restart tooks around 20minutes. I think this is still alpha and it's ok for that.

after i put my nvidia card on maximum preformance it takes about 1min before it took about 2-3

Well after another hour with most of it sitting at snapshot_16 so I've given up for the night. Damn shame about the parasaur I was taming and I can only hope my pets and stuff are still there when I play again in 24 hours.
