Where might I find Argentavis?
I'm currently based at the footpaw near cragg's island and the green ark. not sure which way to go to find Argentavis? Haved tried all west coast and various inland bits.

There are many hill and high places but maybe I've not been lucky in the ones I visited. Got a lot of metal tho.

unless maybe people had cleared any predators out before I got there.

Tons of them up north-north/east at Frozen tooth/fang, just near the tree lines and a bit further up. Note that there are a ton of saber-tooths as well as scorpions there, and the occasional T-rex.

The volcano base has some, but not nearly as many as over at Frozen Tooth/Fang, where it's basically crawling with Argentavis.

West of the volcano, there's a great waterfall spot running along a stream that traces close to metals on the western slope and plenty of birdies around.

Red Pillar mountain has swarms of them.

This comment is just for other people who might be having the same issue: The north east snowless mountain provides lots of Argys, with the added bonus of being accesable quite near the beach (as beaches tend to be much safer places), being snowless, and just being easier to get to. This location does have the downside of containing Rexes.

You can google and find a spawn map. It’ll give you all the locations of whatever you want.

Don't you love when someone actually takes the time to answer the original post on a thread that's 5 years old?

Real nice of you to be helpful, @DarkFaceGlow, but I would hope the OP found his argents by now and isn't still looking.
