Failed at gathering with my phiomia. What am I doing wrong?
I tried going out to gather with Dotty, my phiomia. While riding her, I left clicked my mouse, like I was attacking the bushes, but nothing happened. What am I doing wrong?

I don't believe the phiomia is a gatherer, or it's a bug.

i guess he has really small AOE so u really need to be pointing to the plant to get some berries..as for example bronto..u just click and u chop down whole forest...200 berries+ with 1 swing

Hmm... I will have to do some research. Maybe you are right Rokker and she is not a gatherer. I tried in several areas but no luck at all. What about the turtle, do they gather?

Turtles do not gather. Don't think Piomia either. I think the "Smallest" Gatherer is the Triceratops. Anything smaller then that is most likely meant just as a ride.

A Parasaur can harvest, but no better than the player on their own. Two attacks will strip a bush of its berries. It's enough to keep the Parasaur fed easily, but not really a collector. The Trike feels epically good by comparison!

there is a gathering bug that happens try opening the dino's inventory while riding it and then close it and gather again to see if that fixes it i get this bug from time to time and this fixes it for me

The Phiomia can gather thatch from trees, but not very well. I think it is primarily just a pack mule for carrying lots of stuff.

Turtles DO gather i use mine to get berries for the other dinos

I stand corrected, after I took my Parasaur for a spin.
Looks like you can use all dino's for collection.
Although for decent collection you would still want a trike or better.

I tried to collect with Dotty again and I still can't seem to get her to collect. I will have to keep trying.

Hmm, I tried my butt of on my newer character to harvest with a Parasaur... I didn't get a single thing; so I figured they couldn't gather.

bug maybe?
