Body/bag dissapearing on death

Anyone else having issues with all of their "stuff" dissapearing after death? My husband has a body or bag on the ground he can loot, but mine is just gone. Am I perma bugged and have to start over? Happens every time.

Common reasons for not having a body to loot after death:

• The corpse rag-dolled away to somewhere you're not looking.
  
• The corpse ended up inside/under a rock, tree, or other scenery.
  
• The dinosaur kept hitting it after death, which can knock the body all over the place.
  
• You were killed by a carnivore, then eaten. This leaves behind in very small satchel; which is dang hard to spot.
  
• Your corpse decayed before you got back.

The size and shape of your character model could be affecting the movement after death, so that may explain why your husband's character doesn't ragdoll far, but yours does.

I have been unable to recover probably three-quarters of my corpses. Even knowing exactly where I died does not always help find a body.

I am also not convinced that bodies aren't sometimes falling through the ground.

Thanks. Kind of figured some of these things might be happening. Hubby has been standing next to me a few times and didn't die....and we still cant find the darn thing. So my guess is it's falling through the earth. Darn frustrating though!

I have been getting this a lot recently. Either the dino knocked my body WAY FAR AWAY, because I looked and looked, or it knocked me through the ground. I cant clear any boulders away since my weapons are on my dead body. This is insanely frustrating. Real tired of losing really good gear and making new gear.

this Constantly happens to me when in the swamp biome, but ONLY the swamp biome i dont know whats up with that xD but seriously loosing my stuff over and over is NOT fun :/

I die all the time, so we are pretty good at finding my body or the little satchel. However, the last two times, there wasn't anything to find. I'm pretty sure I knew where I was, but anything is possible.

I THINK that when I clicked my bed right away and the number that shows distance was going up for a moment. Maybe I'm seeing things, but I wonder if we are falling through the ground more than we use to.

there is a bug with falling that can cause corpses/bags to be unrecoverable.

Sometimes when I die my body is underneath the map.

All the time.
I once hit the ground so hard that in the blurry death window I SAW my body glitch through the terrain into the subterranean ocean. I died next to my house so I knew the exact spot, and sure enough my body was no where to be found.

I also got stuck inside the dire wolf I was taming inside my taming pen and it killed/ate me. When I got back (a 60 second run from my bed back to the pen) there wasn't even a backpack on the ground in or around the pen. Even if your body is eaten it should still drop a bag, but this time it didn't.

I've never had so many issues with this until one of the recent updates, possibly v215. I don't think I've recovered my body more than 1/5 times I've died. Now I never carry any good tools or weapons unless necessary because I don't believe I'll get them back :/
