Racism
I've been playing on official server 41 for awhile now and i started off with no problems at all then i got raided i saw who did it so i ask them why as we used to be on good terms. The reply i got was "because your black" this sparked multiple arguments and further racist comments directed towards black people. I managed to take 2 screenshots proving this one such screenshot has one person saying the N word more than once! Saddly no more as i wasnt thinking clearly as you can imagine. I can find no way to contact the devs regarding this issues I've reported it to steam but i doubt they will do much. I think this is an outrage and if anyone can put me in touch with the devs I'd be grateful.

forget which server I was on, someone had a wood fort on a beach and signs all around it with things like "Ni**ers taste good' "Hitler was right" "Lynch Tree" etc. No idea how to report, so I just axed away the signs.

man this is online gaming your going to run in to ppl saying anything to make you mad. if you want to be away from racism you gotta find an unofficial server with admins. they wont ban someone from steam because they are a racist douche sucks i know but nothing we can do.

People should be able to do or say whatever they want, especially in a game like this. You don't think that if large number of people were in this kind of scenario for real that there wouldn't be a number of idiots like racists out there. Racism is dumb, ignorant, and horrible, but it's real. There is no point to trying to deny it. What you should do is try and educate and fix the ignorance. Ignorance can be solved. It is simply a lack of knowledge. And for those that are idoits, people who are willfuly ignorant and refuse to learn, crush them. As there is not much else that can be done about them.

It's generally just trolls, ignoring them is the best option. I play on TC's server, and I know early on there was some twelve year old that just learned his first racial slur and couldn't stop himself from typing it all day.

Get over it? If someone making racist comments in a game gets you that upset, dont play online games. Free speech.

I know that most of the people that say and do these sort of things online are just trolls and I know your not supposed to feed the trolls. But, trolling is just another form of ignorance and/or idiocy. Your average troll may just be some ignorant fool who doesn't really grasp how what they say can bring harm to others. There are those of them though that don't care. Who don't want to think about it or who actively enjoy it. As far as I'm concerned the same rules apply.

And really, I was talking more about IRL than the net. Because like you said most of them are just trolls.
