Video Driver has crashed and reset.... wth ???
i have the latest nvidia drivers (NO BETADRIVERS) , and i think my specs are fine... i play on medium profile ark. i host a localserver on my pc while playing too but i think that only affects ram + harddrive.

IPS:

16mbps download , 1mbps upload, 15ms average ping

Mainboard: Asus Z87-PRO
CPU: i7 4770K OC
GPU: GTX 780 OC
RAM: 16GB 1866MHZ 4x4gb quad channel (G.Skill SNIPER DDR3-1866 DIMM CL9)
SYSTEM SSD: Samsung 840 Evo
GAME SSD: Samsung 850 PRO 256GB (bought it just for this game)
HDD: dont know the name but its just for archiving all that random stuff.

this seems to happen after every update, just verify your cache and, well for me at least, 2 files are always missing, verifying always fixes this for me anyways.

This happens to me a lot too, both before and after updates. Never thought about verifying the files tho. Thanks Spez for the tip!

Kann viele Ursachen haben,
Hatte selber das Problem mit einer GTX670 OC von Asus, bei Spielen die die Karte dauerhaft an Ihre Grenze brachte. In den unterschiedlichsten Spielen manchmal nach 5 Minuten, manchmal auch erst nach ner Stunde oder zwei.
Selbe Fehlermeldung wie bei dir, war echt am Verzweifeln da man wirklich nirgends brauchbare Informationen dazu fand, wollte mir schon eine neue Karte holen... Nach Stunden der Recherche bin ich dann darauf gekommen, das sie evt. abstürzt weil die GPU zu wenig Spannung hat, die Dinger takten ja dynamisch, somit tritt das Problem erst auf wenn sie auf 100% laufen. (bzw. kann auftreten) Dazu kommt, dass Asus bei ihren OC's zwar den Takt hochschraubt, aber die Spannung nicht. Jeh nach Güte des Chips kann das Funktionieren oder eben auch nicht.

Was hat also geholfen?: Bei mir, hatte es gerreicht die neuste Bios Version ->für die Grafikkarte<- drauf zu machen. Gibt zudem auch Tools wo man das Bios vorab modifizieren kann und dann mit angepassten Spannungen/ Takt drüber flasht.

Bei dir kann es auch ein anderes Problem sein, nur falls du mal nicht mehr weiter weißt, les dich in das Thema ein :) (ich übernehme keine Garantie) bin jedoch seitdem wieder glücklich mit meiner Karte, nur drauf kommen muss man erst mal ;)

i did this, it downloaded 800 kbytes or something, but it still didnt fix the issue, i had a crash after 3 mins. again same problem, man im so pissed, is there no workaround? this seems to be a graphic setting issue, when i played with everything on low (only textures epic and resolution scaled up) it didnt happen...
