Let it starve, and farm tons of Prime Meat before it gets to the starving point. Make sure to keep it narc'd up and don't let it hit 0 or it'll wake up. By starve I literally mean starve. The absolute fastest tame for a T-Rex is 0 food, to the point it's taking damage, then LOAD it with Prime Meat. It'll tame so fast, and the % will be insane. Just try to tame it near areas where you can transport/farm Prime very quickly and you'll be set. Even if you can't get prime make sure to load it with meat and it'll give you a huge chunk of taming points right off the bat.
Can some one direct me to comfrimation of this?
It is not actually faster, people just fall under the illusion that it is though, because they see the taming bar rise faster, not taking into consideration how long they've actually been waiting for the hunger to drop. It's logic, really, the hunger bar falls by a defined amount every 'tick', once the hunger has dropped by 50 or so the creature will eat until full. A starved creature will eat the same amount of meat every time, if the taming efficiency is the exact same, as a non starved creature.
The only time starving becomes more time efficient is if you use stimberries/stimulants to lower the creatures torpor and hunger, countering the narcotics you've used (narcotics also lower hunger as it increases torpor), but that also becomes way more resource expensive.
With prime meat it is, because prime meat spoils fast
ROASTED prime meat will be better
and you must put all your meat to the dino cuz it will be good x2 longer
progress of taming depends of remaining time of meat that predator (Trex) eats
i'm using always roasted prime meat and roasted meat
not raw meat
Cooked Prime Meat is 2x faster
Carnivores will always eat raw prime over regular meat.
