Thatch, Wood or Sparkpowder?
So which is the most efficient fuel source? I think sparkpowder might burn longer than wood in the forge and preserving bin but I'm not sure.

Never tested spark powder.. But it's harder to collect than just simply cutting 20 trees for 100+ wood so just go for wood.

Thatch is definately worst. Sparkpowder seems to burn longer than wood, but obviously it costs 2 resources to be gathered and crafted to get, rather than just harvested, like wood or thatch.

We're having problems with clearcutting too many trees. Ever since I found a good path up into the northern mountians we've been using Sparkpowder due to the sheer amount of flint I've been getting on mining runs.

Ultimatly efficency is more about the abundance of what you have around you rather than which fuel is more effective, in my mind.

spark powder is good if there's no plants around due to deforestation. (probs not much of a problem on pvp servers?)

imo sparkpowder is best. I heard someone say specifically on my server say it burns 3.5 times longer than wood. plus you get 2 with each crafting recipie I believe

Gasoline. Combine oil and hide. Most efficient, but sparkpower is the next best.

Well we don't have access to oil yet but plenty of hide but yeah, I assumed gas would be best in the end game. Thank you all for your comments.
