megalodon problems!!!

So wondering if anyone is having the same issue. I just spent like 3 hours taming a lvl 27 megalodon so i would be able to get oil n pearls alot easier. So as soon as i got him tamed i hopped on and found myself some oil. I was able to havest one oil node before a pack of 7 megalodons came running and killed my mega? Pissed but still needing oil i moved along to another section on opposite end of island to find oil. Guess what happened. i get down to the oil node and suprise 5-6 more megalodons showed up and killed me. I continued to try getting goods out of ocean but every time i see a megalodon their in packs of 5-10. Am i just in the wrong area or are the always in huge undefeatable packs?

tame another megladon but this time level it up in HP and Melee damage i can 1v10 any level megladon on mine hes a beast at level 16

this exactly also level the stamina to fight for a long time but my mega can solo anything that comes at him

My stan is lvl 60 =) He kills ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ all the time. He leveled himself up to maxx because I left him on aggressive and he ate every shark in the ocean it seems like lol. Over 10,000 in health and like 500 something dmg>? Just stay near the shore till the shark levels up a bunch and maybe train some tank turtles to bring with you as well as another shark. I bring my two turtles while I ride my mega and am usually fine.

ok ill have to do that. i was just to impatient and didnt wait to lvl him. now i gota spend 3 more hours taming lol.

Yeah that sucks. Plus they are scary to tame since you have to go into the water to do it. What I did was ride my trex al the way into the water as far as he could still stand then I used a regular arrow to lead the mega shark up near us and tranqed the crap out of it and stayed on the comfort of my trexes backthe whole time except to feed and knock out the shark. And I used my gun to kill any other sharks that wanted to come play. Hope this is helpful.
