Edit: As in they didn't seem to affect him at all, just lead him into shallow water where you can stand and just punch him. Try swimming to get his attention or kill a fish thats close to the beach and they should come running
Haven't tried it myself so far, but using our turtle seems the best option to get them into "position". regardless of whether to use the turtle as bait to get them close to shallow water or use their backs to drop down arrows. Turtles get 220 HP per level and are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ durable, so feel free to make a swimming wall with them.
Well that would be cool, but maybe too easy to tranc carnivores.
BTW, i throw a dead Dodo into the water once, the Megas dont like chicken and the body just rot in the water. But they come from all over the sea to get a dead coal ;)
