The answer to the "Rockwell Recipes: Medical and Energy Brews"

So for the longest time I couldn't figure out why the two simplest recipes wouldn't work. As you know the recipe for the Medical Brew is: 20 Tintoberries, 2 Stimulant, any water container more than 25%, and about 4-5 wood(only really need 3 but I like to be safe). Whilst pulling out the charcoal during the burn.

But the recipe in game is WRONG. I was thinking to myself, why would you use stimulant? That doesn't affect your health, but narcotics do. So I swapped the two and viola! It worked. Energy Brew and Medical Brew! I tested both, with and without the recipe in the pot. So if you know it, you can make it.

So remember, for the Medical Brew and Energy Brew, use the OPPOSITE of what it tells you.

The biggest problem with people saying the recipes don't work, is that they put the stuff into a pot that is already in use.

Put everything in the pot -THEN- light the fire. :3

Yup and make sure that there is nothing else in the pot! That helps immensely!

That is a problem, but in this case both these recipes in-game are actually incorrect.

Yeah, it doesn't matter what order you put items into the pot, or whether it is already in use, when the recipe was actually wrong. Thanks for sharing this, I was finally able to make the medical recipe.

yeah i finally had success with 10 tintoberries (recipe says 20), 2 narcotics, a waterskin and 3-4 wood

Stimulant is correct for the Energy Brew, or possibly both, but Stimulant is what I've always used for it. Medical Brew is definitely Narcotics.

I am having problems with this too. I know this an old post but I have done all that the people (above) have mentioned and it doesn't work for me.

don't use wood! sparkpowder else you wind up with dye from the charcoal at times too.

use thatch not sparkpowder, sparkpowder makes dyes too.
