Character is just a Silhouette in Inventory screen?
Anyone else have this problem? I have verified cache, reinstalled the game, and still can't see my character. It used to work fine, then suddenly didn't. If you've had this, did you find a fix?

Nope, no command line options or anything like that. Just default installation. I haven't even edited ini files etc. Only changed options from inside the game, but even on default it's the same problem.

ive had it before but cant remember why.
try removing all graphic options and turn to low then increase an option at a time

So far it seems people that have Nvida 980 cards and I think some with titans have this issue from people Ive talked too. No fix that I know of yet for it. Id probably make a quick post on the bugs / issues form just letting them know what kind of card you have and the issue.

I'm using a 970, which isn't far fetched. Same hardware with some gimping.

I have a 970. Its a specific in game setting, I changed settings around until the shadow figure turned into the normal model. Just change each setting until it works.

Its the PostProcessing. I have the GTX960 and moved it up to MEdium and I am back in my inventory.

Actually this a new issue again. I have had Post Processing on Low forever and never had this problem. After Patch v265 I got the silhouette issue, so I found this thread, changed Post Processing to Medium and it works ok now. But when I change it back to Low it goes black again.

So the thread may be over 2 years old but right now it is very relevant.

970, same problem. Came after the update. I guess this is part of the "huge" performance "optimization". :D

As the OP of this thread, I say it's not dead!..mainly because it happened to me again haha. It just started working on it's own one day, but now it's back after latest patch for me as well.

Hullo, just a confirmation that setting the Post Processing to Medium solved this issue for me on a GTX960. This thread is definitely not out of date. I am glad I found it.
