r.bloomquality 0
r.lightshafts 0
What are the current bloomquality and lightshafts set at in case I want to put it back?
Good question. I'd like to know too. I think where gamma is concerned the value is around 2.37 but I wouldn't like to guess at light shafts and/or bloom.

r.lightshafts is an on/off switch so use 1 or 0.
Pretty sure it says it defaults at 5 in the link somewhere.
This works like a freaking charm
I used the bloomquality 0 setting here in single play just now.
Thanks for the tip as it now fixes a huge problem I have with graphics in the game
and the insanely stupid bloom / glare levels.
THANKYOU.
Oh, first time I tried it did not work.
I failed to note the period between r.console and mistook the period for a space. hah.
So if others fail, note the period . it matters.
Why, as of this date they have not included a bloom switch in options is a bit baffeling.
It is one of the biggest complaints on graphics in the game remaining. Such a stupid easy fix.
