Okay I give up; where does seeds come from?

I've searched a load and only find ínfo ABOUT the seeds and how to grow them into plants but now WHERE they come from. Do they drop as berries spoil? Drops from harvesting bushes? Because I haven't seen it. Where oh where oh WHERE do seeds come from?! \o/

Drops from bush bashing (collecting berries and fiber) . Rare to get if you do it by hand but they do happen. Failing that a Trike or a Stegi seems to have the best chance of getting them.

Get them from Harvesting bushes, and you'll get some in your crop plot too (of course you need some to begin with...), use a Trike or Bronto to mass collect from bushes and you'll have 100 stacks of each!

You get seends from harvesting bushes and bamboo. Goes a lot faster with a Trike or Stego etc etc.

On my bronto, one swipe will usually get around 120 of each berry and about 1 or 2 seeds. Just to give you an idea of how rare they are when running around picking bushes.

I've gotten plenty of seeds when I go gathering, both by hand and with Trike.

Just simple berry farming. My friends/tribe and I go harvest berries whenever we want some long-distance food and we get plenty of seeds. Keep note that you get seeds that don't correspond to the berries you eat. Save those for when you farm and you can use them in the larger crops. My favourite dino to farm resources with right now would definitely be the Ankylo. He clears an area of around a 10 foot radius per swing and can also be used to mine rocks. He gets metal from the coastal rocks too and just cleans up riverbeds. Be prepared for several ingame days/nights of taming though. The only dino that took longer to tame was the TRex and only by a day.

You need to pick a metric ton of bushes. Just keep picking, and you're bound to find some.
