I was just in there and it was empty....come to think of it all the caves I have been in on single player have been empty....

On my server, there is only 20 / 30 mobs in all cave, but this one is full, it's impossible to get down

My god, that looks really nice..
Screw the piranhas because sometimes they look like flowers until you get too close but damn that's a lot of mobs.

Maybe the difficulty slider was set all the way up?

That's nothing. Me and a few friends of mine went into the Monster Island cave today for the first time. After we fought past the army of scorpions (must've been 10 or 11 of them right after the water tunnel), we get to the big open cavern. Nothing to see, just a few bats. And then we looked down. I've never seen that many mobs before. Must've been around 100 just littering the air about halfway down. Killed a single bat up near us, and watched them all converge on the falling corpse into a singular mob. Was rather terrifying. So, we get down to the bottom after the most glorious fight against bats ever, and we're recuperating, when all of the sudden our scout screams into her mic over TS and comes bolting back up the spiral walkway. Behind her is an army of spiders. THIS CAVE IS LITERALLY HELL WITH ALL THE ♥♥♥♥ INSIDE OF IT. XD

Yes, i'm ok with that, but it's the only cave in the north / east
