Add Exp Command?

Whenever I use the Addexperience 500 1 1 command it makes the sound like i got he experience and the exp arrow goes up, but all the sudden it goes back down and I don't get any exp? Anyone got this admin command to work?

are you sure you have enabled cheats? This sound like me trying to use the time command, it worked for a second and then popped back, the reason was i had miss typed the enablecheats commands.

It'll work on unofficial servers if you are the admin and/or cheats are enabled.

I thought it was 0 0, not 1 1?

It should look like 500 0 0 1 there are 4 numbers not 3.

not sure what the first 0 means, but the 2nd 0 will share experience with tribe if set to 1. I've used it while playing around testing thing on my own private server. Works just fine. so, 500 0 0 is just for yourself, 500 0 1 shares with tribe.

i had this issue before. what was happening to me was i forgot Enablecheats Password

You are typing the command wrong. You have to type it as follows. You have to have "cheat " before your commands or it bugs them like you saw.
cheat addexperience 500 0 1

also if you are on a dino and type this then the dino gets the xp and not you.
