Ark data download disabled

I am on an Official EU PVP server and it says "ark data download disabled".

Why? I thought we were allowed to transfer our characters between Arks...

Age of thread does not matter because situation still the same. And still one players have advantages against others in situations i listed because Data Transfer is disabled on official servers.

There are NO MORE official servers. This whole thread is pointless now. They were all shutdown for Ark Survival Evolved.

There are save files for the different servers, that were made available after they were shutdown. You can download those and restore them to a server you run and possibly recover them. I can't tell you how to do that process. You will have to research how and where to go yourself.

This is 9 years old, when did you upload your dinos ?
Official servers have been closed since September.
