Pet not attaking my "target"
I'm not too sure what is going on, but I have the preference" attack my target" on my dino. So I target a turle and attack it, but the pet doesn't attack the turtle. Instead it just follow me and does nothing else.

Anyone know how to fix this? This is get kind of annoying. I thought the pet might be bugs, so I tame another dino and retry, but the same still happen.

When you mouse over the pet, does it say that the aggression level is on Attacking target ?

Yes it does. That why I was like "wth it not attacking". I even try to tame another pet because I thought the one I have is bug, same thing happen.

You do know that "Attack your target" means attacking the dino/player you are currently attacking right?

I know... see my OP where I say "I target a turle and attack it". I bascially kite and attack the turle by myself for a good 30 sec and down it. All that time, my pet jsut follow me and do nothing to my target.

I'm also having this happen on a private server. I have two tame male raptors set to attack MY target, but they do not attack when I attack something.

I also notice that when you do the "Attack THIS target" whistle, it doesn't always work – sometimes they just stand there and stare at you instead of lunging for the whistled target.

I find a fix for this, set it to neutral agressive. It will attack any target you attack or attack you.

Press Peroid (.) and you'll do the "Attack my target" whistle and they'll come running.. WOrks great for having your pets tank as you can do it from a ways off with a spyglass too.
