Spinosaurus in the south -.-
Currently we have spinosaurus wondering around on the south beaches. This is stupid, spinosaurus should only be inland and much closer to the center of the map.

Spinosaurus would go where ever the ♥♥♥♥ it wanted. Land or sea.
Fez Vrasta (ITA) Jun 14, 2015 @ 11:46am
Why that? Spino is meant to live near water.

Dino's can walk wherever the hell they want, thats the beauty of the game.

South zone should not have big carnivores like rex or spino. The south is generally considered to be less dangerous than other zones. It's where new players usualy start out.

Shut the ♥♥♥♥ up.

Make me. And like the above said, a spinosaurus typically wouldn't stay inland. It's primary hunting source was fish. Fish live in rivers. Rivers lead to oceans. Therefore, you shut the ♥♥♥♥ up ;D

South zone should not have big carnivores like rex or spino. It's supposed to be a less dangerous noob zone.

I'd say the noobs around you are more dangerous than the spino.

I can confirm and agree with this.

We have a base in S1 spawn, and it's currently SURROUNDED by Spinos.

We can't even go out exploring, because they're in ALL DIRECTIONS....

We saw 4 of them, all around us, at the same time, last night.

The idea that he's getting at for those that seem to be missing it is that the South area seems to be the safest spawn for a new player and is apparently considered to be the starting zone. That then would suggest that there would be a modicum of safety and that the scariest thing on the island barring bosses wouldn't be roaming around willy nilly.

You obviously have never encountered a spino then.

I've spawned south and i live next to a spino. He's basically my neighbor, but as long as i don't bother him, he's usually fine with me.

I think he actually makes a decent point in that allowing spinosaurus to be in spawning zones is not really.. fair? You at least need the chance to build a hatchet before you have to run screaming for your life.
Evil Lucien Jun 14, 2015 @ 11:50am
Also, the Spino is supposed to be a "fish hunter", so why is it always up on land picking fights with anything that moves?

Spinos are shockingly docile aren't they? You basically have to rub up on them to get them to go after you.
