Don't wanna see everyone with an army of 70+ spinos...
Oookay so:
Higher level dino takes longer time to level up than a level one dino going to level 2. Yes, this is working as intended. Why would it be the same amount of time for a dino to go from 70-71 as a level 1 going to a level 2? My mind is boggled at your ignorance.
Why are you frantically gathering berries to keep it knocked out? Get a trike you can tame in a short time (HINT: LOW LEVEL TRIKE), gather tons of berries, make tons of Narcotics, there you go. Not hard. You should have to WORK to get a higher level dino, because that means you're getting boosted stats. Trikes are awesome at gathering berries. Someone told me Stegos are even better but their movement is pretty cramped.
Hell I gathered probably 200+ Narcoberries in like 10 minutes or less just running around on a Trike. We made a ton of Narcotics. And it was just ME gathering the berries. So you have no room to complain.
Prepare for the taming first before you initiate the taming. Especially for the higher level dinosaurs/bigger dinosaurs.
If the server goes down, lolalpha, suck it up and move on.
Even if they added something simple, like a device that can track how your dino is doing whle being tamed/is tamed, you wouldn't have to sit near it so much.
Well, it's that, and the taming.
You know what, yes, I do think the time on dinos needs to be adjusted somewhat. It's not so much the time however as what we are doing to tame them.
It's freaking dull just watching and feeding it.
Now, if it was more like say, how you care for a new pet, then sure.
Feed them, pet them, give them baths. (Do dinos need baths?) All sorts of things, then yes, it would be far more interesting then feeding it berries for ages on end.
My bad, I did misread it.
My other points still stand though. You're getting a boosted dinosaur. You should have to tame it for 4 hours.
That leveling thing should be fixed though.
So people who play solo can just leave and not have fun right? People who have small families can just leave right? How about people that only with one other friend and you both lead busy lives? Oh well only those with no life outside the game get to have fun.
