Bats Wayyyyyy To OP!

Like the title says bats need a bad nerf. They seem to do as much damage as carnos per hit, but are in much bigger groups and shred any armor in a few hits. At this point we have to constantly keep out cave clean or they build up and destroy us whenever we go in.

They have too much health too. They take too many hits. Esspecially when they ball up in clumps, and become mate boosted.

For being a bat they most likely do have too much health. I would be fine with the health if they didn't do their godly damage too.

Anything mate boosted is a nightmare to deal with if hostile :(

Snakes are actualy more OP and take way more strikes to kill. Bats are easily killed in a few hits

Uuuuhhhh...? Bats hit weak as ♥♥♥♥, their AI is janky, and you can kill them with a pike in 1-2 hits?

You do realize caves are for level 45+ people, and you're probably just getting your ass kick because you're aweful, right?No offense.

Do not nerf bats, or titanboas, the game will be too easy.

Nothing 4 shots full flak armor. I only have 100 HP and even Rexes and long necks only do like 10 damage to me in full flak.

But no.
Titanboas don't hurt that much, Chitin armor is enough to survive at least 4-5 boa bites. They hit pretty damn hard, but not that hard.

No, I'm 64 and bats are still incredibly overtuned. Like I said they completly break a full set of flak armor in 4 hits and then can easily 2 shot any naked person. The fact that bats are almost always in large groups just makes them that much more powerful since they usually have mate buff. Could also possibly be caves or atleast our cave has a spawning problem with too many bats and spiders.

No, the caves go from level 5ish to 45ish, they have a big range. All depends on the cave, and the caves are pretty much group content.

The Bats are realy OP, we tryed to rush the mid cave in a 4 member groupe, we had no chance, all flak and Assault Rifles, it was a mess...i hope they nerf them a bit

Only time I fought bats was in hide armor with an axe. As long as you treat them like raptors the die easily. The scorpions there were harder to kill. Walls are your friend ;)

Besides, it SHOULD be a challege to survive in a cave. They are supposed to be a high level, difficult, end-game area.

Bats are not OP, it looks like your problem is weapon and method. I'd say go slow and steady.

I go into caves with several pikes, a simple pistol, machined shotgun, longneck, and a butt load of grenades. Use longshot if u notice bats at a long range and have time to snipe some out of the air as they come to you. Use a pistol as a mid range weapon, I use the shotgun for short range but not melee, and if needed i back into a corner and stab at bats. I use grenades if i see a large group and i really dont want to deal with it.

With the above setup, ive solo raided 4 caves so far, figured id offer some info.

Funny ive never had a problem with bats even in hide armor and a pike. Stop complaining put your back to a wall and spam that left click upward.
