Please up the drop rate like u did on rocks for metal since all caves are blocked now farmin turtles that drop 1 for every 3 killed is getting old and boring fast unless someone has a better idea for me

no he is wrong dont use an ax if you use a metal pickaxe i get anywhere from 9-15 per kill

Damn well my area only has turtles so I feel the drop is low I used a metal pick same ♥♥♥♥ I get maybe 3 if I'm lucky

The cement paste grind is pretty real when you start needing metal foundations, wouldn't mind a boost to the drop rate, we spent 8 hours yesterday farming chitin/keratin and it definitely wasn't 9-15 per drop.

Buurag, what do you kill and get that much? I have 300 metal spawning outisde my base every 1 hour but i cant find any keratin. I perform mass genocides on the whole island. After about 100 dinos in total (Stegos turtles trikes) i come home with 18 keratin if im lucky. I seriously think to start raiding just to get more keratin.

my friends say killing trikes, stegs, etc and harvesting with a sabertooth is decent keratin. Don't forget if you go into a cave you can use chitin making paste.

That's the problem all caves are blocked with metal doors now so throwing 1000000 nads at it is a grind on its own

Kill Ankylos they drop keratin quite often.

I'm using a saber to farm, the keratin can be anything from 1-7 in my experience so far. Chitin however i've had a lot more luck with, I tend to get 5-10 from each scorpion kill.

Use chitin for cement, not keratin. Its way easier to farm.

Even Ankylos give ONE keratin when flayed with metal tools. Keratin rate needs to go up.
