and w/e they kinda need to reword on those ui thing..
You must not have as great a cpu as you said, or you just have tons of viruses and other optimization issues. I have a gtx 970 and get 40+ frames on medium.
FYI: My 4 year old computer runs the game just fine and it's 100% playable even with some lag moments.
Optimizing and making the game smooth isn't really something one would except from an game in the alpha development stage, neither is final menu graphics or game balance.
Using free or cheap assets from the asset store and get on with the project is totally valid and a good development strategy, but whatever hater's gone hate :)
I love the game, if you don't then why are you here on it's forums? :D
How are most gameworlds built? Well it's complex but simplified it comes down the the following:
SpeedTree, automatic terrain generation from one of various programs and assets outsorced in bulk to china. There's variations but mostly that's it.
Seriously.. A lot of AAA titles got their trees and vegitation from SpeedTree, does this mean they have no idea what they are doing because they aren't creating their own assets? Or does it mean they are smart enough to use their time on the stuff that's actually important?
The games industry is basically built on a solid fundation of outsorcing assets, the Unity and Unreal marketplaces just make the process open and transperant and competative. Best of all it gives freelancers a chance to compete (both 3D artists and game devs) and do what they love.
How about you own the game first before you make some troll ass posts
Witcher 3
GTA 5
Age of Conan
Jurrasic World (The Movie)
Avengers Age of Ultron (The Movie)
Mad Max (The Movie)
Dragon Age Inquisition
Assasins Creed Unity
Forza 5
And many, MANY more all done with mostly or exclusivly bought assets for vegiation, gosh..
That's strange, because I have great fps on high, and playable fps on epic.
i5, GTX 970, 16 GB of ram. Nothing special.
