Mammoth and anklyo are the best mammoth being the better he can remove entire trees each melee meaning you get more then you would with hatchet. anklyo can do everything but not as well.

oh ok, i tried gathering wood on my dinos and none could do it. Have to try getting a mammoht now :D

Last time i try Bronto just oly 1 tree at a time,.. but 223456 bushes wit hone hit -_-
and he gets most time only thatches,...

Anklyo for Stone/Metal

Brontosaurus is the best. But by the time youre able to make a saddle for it, you wont even want the wood.
