Nitrado server host update?

A friend of mine got a Nitrado server yesterday, does anyone have a server from them, and do you know if they update regularly? I see tons of unofficial servers on version 173 already, but Nitrado is still on 172.5. Thanks!

From my past experience nitrado is a little bit slow with patching. Although it's top notch quality.

it usually takes them a few hours to get to the next patch, and with this game and the amount of patches that have come out sometimes you might not get the .2 or .3 increment before another big patch. But they do a decent job of getting it up, just not as fast as if we could control the update ourselves.

You can't update the server yourself?

That's a major turn-off for me.

I was considering using Nitrado.

I just got a nitrado server as well but i cant get onto the server. i think i need to port everything forward but im not able too

my Nitrado server updates on server reset. it takes 10-15 after restart to fully come up. even though it will say it's up before then. you can tell it is up when your server name displays on the dashboard.

my only real gripe is the settings to disable alphas don't seem to be working but it could be my fault. I'm just going to ftp in and delete the alpha files.
