What is steam id specify in the white list?

How do I whitelist a player for my server?

As an admin with cheats enabled, use the following console commands:

cheat AllowPlayerToJoinNoCheck SteamID
cheat DisallowPlayerToJoinNoCheck SteamID

Where SteamID is their numeric ID. Also then you can manually edit this file that will be generated:

\ARK\ShooterGame\Binaries\Win64\PlayersJoinNoCheckList.txt

So how exactly should this work? It doesn't seem to work.

Does it need steamname (login name), old steam id, steamid3, steamid 64...?
Does it need a server restart to work?
If not, does it safe after restart?

UP. Community id not work. SteamId containing letters, generally not added to the whitelist As I understand it, the white list is not working at all?

you need to use this command after enabling admin login

cheat AllowPlayerToJoinNoCheck <SteamID>
you need to do this ingame, also they have most likely done very minimal testing for this, since they added it to ensure server operators can guarentee a spot on there server to manage it.

maybe look up the command you have to add to your server launcher, the default ini seems to not actually utilize the admin password part.

it does save, it should take the actual steamid that you find under profile i believe and im not sure about whether a restart is required.
