=====Cant someone please help with electric cables in base??======
I have a couple bases with generators and AC untis etc, and some electric outlet boxes on the floors, all I need now is electric cables to connect eveything. But for some reason when I go to place the cables they are under the floor of my base I cant even see them. A devs said you can raise the cables in order to place them, does anyone know how to raise the electrical cables to above floor level so you can see to place them?? Thanks for any help.

you dont need to raise them. Runn a cable. Put a outlet box on the end of it then put your stuff near the outlet box.

the outlet box has a very large range when it comes to powering stuff near it. it doesn't have to touch and when messing around with it in single player was able to power things at least a trike distance away.

Ok I still cant get it to work, when I go to place cables I still cannot see any part of the cable

I can't get it to work either and I've demolished 3 generators, miles of cable, several connection outlets and a couple of refrigerators trying. Since the cables are in the stone floor and I can't see them I can only hope they were connecting. Apparently, they were not. And until the devs make the green pre-placement cables visible through all mediums so that I can line them up before I click them in, this is one part of the game I will have to forgo.

This seems to happen with Stone foundations. They hide in the floor. With the Metal, they are above the foundation.

Try having an outlet box on-hand; it should snap to the cable and show you where they end. Just start to place it and then don't place it while you trace out the cable route, then place it when you finish.

If the outlet box doesn't show, try using a vertical cable segment instead.

1 pic shows the inside of the stone foundation. this needs to be fixed or you must try so long as it works.

or buld as first an inclined cable in the generator and buld the cable higher

Sorry guys I forgot about this post a bit, but one of the updates a while ago fixed my electric cable problem. Now I can build a base, put a generator in, run a cable up from the generator to the ceiling. Then I run the cables up on the ceiling, putting electrical boxes every few feet. And when I put other eleictrical objects such as air conditioners etc, it automatically links up to them. I hope you all get it working ok as well as I now have, good luck.

Just make a incline cable and raise it

Gotta make an intersection
