Dinosaurs need sleep
At night the game tells us that we're cold and need to get warm soon... well, Dinosaurs are cold-blooded... there needs to be a Sleeping timer for the Mobs. For example at day the giant Monsters stomp over the lands, but at night only the mammals are awake and the Dinos sleep.

yeah i think they need life cycles too. they should be sluggish in the early morning too, but not sure they would go that far.

I think I have seen dino's sleeping. Have you even noticed once unconscious while exploring? I have see a trike unconscious, and another standing next to it. Maybe it was guarding the unconscious one.

I would also suggest allowing us to sleep in bed to log out in multi (But don't require us to do so) and allow us to spend X amount of time sleeping in single player. I don't think we should require sleep (in my opinin not a fun system) but in single you really don't want to be wandering around at night early on, and no one has fun sitting there in the dark for half an hour twiddling their thumbs.

Well, dinosaurs were not really cold-blooded. Recent research has shown that most of them were warm-blooded, like birds, and most also had feathers.

Even T-Rex was covered in feathers, like down feathers on a chick!

Maybe on the Ark they aren't cold blooded though. What if that was the case?

Yah I agree. But night periods are 10 minutes, still basically idle time that is wasted. Have you tried the time of day cheats in single player? They may not work but I play on a local lan server and when night time comes around i just change the time of day for now LOL. especially when I didn't even have a basic thatch room to stay in at night it made no sense just setting at a campfire waiting for my next change to gather basic materials to build a room.

I think that dinosaurs werent exactly cold blooded, or at least, there have been theories that they were not. Or at least that's what I've heard and got after a little search. (sorry if this is incorrect)

Well there are theories for both Ectothermic and Endothermic dinosaurs. And all that feather stuff is theory and what have you too.

I wouldn't use the phrase warm-blooded because that's a bit different. I don't think there is a lot of theory that most of them maintained a constant temperature.

I think they just oversimplified some theories a bit and presented it as facts.

Well, raptors were nocturnal dino, so I don't think they should sleep at night

OT, yes having nocturnal and daytime Dino's would add so much to the gameplay.

Just google dinosaurs were warm blooded. It's a hot science topic at the moment. Also, it is easy to google dinosaurs with feathers. It was carnivorous theropods, like raptors and T-Rex, that had feathers. Those were the ancestors of modern birds.

I've seen some sleeping, they were alive and it said sleeping.
