Even T-Rex was covered in feathers, like down feathers on a chick!
Yah I agree. But night periods are 10 minutes, still basically idle time that is wasted. Have you tried the time of day cheats in single player? They may not work but I play on a local lan server and when night time comes around i just change the time of day for now LOL. especially when I didn't even have a basic thatch room to stay in at night it made no sense just setting at a campfire waiting for my next change to gather basic materials to build a room.
Well there are theories for both Ectothermic and Endothermic dinosaurs. And all that feather stuff is theory and what have you too.
I wouldn't use the phrase warm-blooded because that's a bit different. I don't think there is a lot of theory that most of them maintained a constant temperature.
I think they just oversimplified some theories a bit and presented it as facts.
OT, yes having nocturnal and daytime Dino's would add so much to the gameplay.
Just google dinosaurs were warm blooded. It's a hot science topic at the moment. Also, it is easy to google dinosaurs with feathers. It was carnivorous theropods, like raptors and T-Rex, that had feathers. Those were the ancestors of modern birds.
