Cave noises?

There's some strange ambiance going on in caves; it sounds like people singing/crying, specifically women, in a tone of voice that gives me a headache after listening to it for a few minutes.

Is there a way to turn it off? I get that caves are meant to be scary, but this is more annoying than anything.

That's a pretty good sum-up. It reminds me of the creepy singing you hear in Outlast when there's a jumpscare >_>
