Pipes can't slope? That throws a wrench in the plans of about 90% of base builds out there.

In later levels, you can get more stone pipe pieces that will allow it to go up a slope.

there's vertical, horizontal and inclined pipe, just twist and turn the pipe to the angle you want it to go (especially the incline one, it WILL decline)

It may just be that you have not unlocked it yet.

yeah I've ran piping up a hillside the problem I have is everytime I log back in (mind you this is a private server) my pipes are broken. I don't know if its dino's killing it or if its due to no players being near it for too long but the constant need to spend a bunch of stone to get water to my cliff side house is getting annoying...

Yah, for some backwards reason you can't unlock the angled pipe section when the first pipe
sections show up in engram list.
So that means most people wont' be able to lay out a water delivery system until they learn
the later higher level angled pipe.

I consider that a silly oversight by the developers as I can't come up with a good reason
why they would do that.

So they are still stone pipe? or different material?
