Broken Supply Crates

I can't find this anywhere but I may just be overlooking it so I apologize if it is already been answered.
When playing local, every time I get to a supply crate it only gives me the option of demolishing it. No way to open it.
Can anyone help/ tell me whats going on?

Had the same issue, because stone had spawned where the beacon was, and I don't know if it was because the crate hadn't reached the ground or not.

I broke the stone away, but the crate didn't drop any further, either.

I have had the similar problem but when playing on a server. I un-installed most mods I had, just in case, and forced Steam to check the integrity of the game.... still crashes when I try to open a crate drop in this aberration server. Nobody else has this issue on that server.

Can you tell us what files the uploaded tribute and dinos are stored in? that way I could do a full uninstall, delete, re-install and restore my backed up dinos?

Or is there a specific config file that is likely the cause of a crash? That would be much easier.

your issue is not the same as what the OP was getting 3 years ago.
Best if you start your own thread, may get better help that way.
