ShooterGame.exe - Not Working

Hi,

I'm seeing a lot of people are having the same issue with getting this game to boot on Windows 7. I have read numerous discussions and have tried pretty much everything other players have suggested. Are other people still seeing this issue?

I have Windows 7 64bit (Activated) and yes, I have installed SP1 and all available updates.

I have bought the game via Steam Early Access, downloaded it, and installed to the usual place. When I click "Play" from my library I am presented with a 5-options box.

"Play"
"Low Memory"
"Very Low Memory"
"Ark Server"
"No Sky effect"

No matter which option I select, the game starts booting ShooterGame.exe process (visible from Task Manager > Processes). This process then fails after roughly 5 seconds with no warning, or (visible) error. If I navigate to Steam\Steamapps\common\ARK and try and boot ShooterGame.exe manually then I get a windows error message that says "ShooterGame.exe Stopped Working".

Is this an issue other people are seeing? Has anyone managed to resolve this issue?

if it crashed when you lick on the server list, update your network drivers. I would always crash when I clicked on the server list. updating it fixed it.

For me it just crashes just when i click the play button. ShooterGame.exe has crashed. Tested reinstall, verify game cache, reinstall all microsoft files in ark folder and repair too, restarted computer. Still same thing. Even with low memory mode it just crashing on start :/

I am currently having similar problem - start game - get a UE4 shootergame fail blah blah error. Played ok before. Had this problem several times. Sometimes game works sometimes it crashes. Beats me. Cannot currently play the game.
