Wall Building Controls

i justv want to know if theres going to be a way to really control the way the walls flip? i finf it annying when im building a wall and the wall flips and i cant fix it

yea. coz of that i cant make a wall on the right side on my house too :/ same with ladders... i cant put one on another one to make 2 wall high ladder on a wall. some control for the buildings would be awesome.

Yep. Definitely need better placement controls for buildings.

need more ways to control the building process. half of my walls are facing the wrong way as you cant tell which way the base of the wall is being built. so now my dino door is the wrong way round as well lol. the bases for the walls should be universal and we can choose which way to build the walls ect.

I'm also very particular about getting my walls the right way around :v

PRO TIP: When placing the wall foundation, the inside of the wall will always be on the right hand side of the foundation when you're placing it.
This means you sometimes have to stand in funny positions to place it correctly and get the wall facing what way you want.

Why did you necro this post? This is old information as there is now a flip wall button

Or you could just press the E key to flip it, since they added that recently.

they added a flip button a patch or 2 ago, just press E when it is in position and it flips it round. Walls are real easy now

Thanks for the info. Missed that in the patch notes.

Also, strait up answer with no crap about looking at and commenting on an old post that had helpful info. It's almost like I had only just found the notification to get back to it.
