Do NOT buy ARK: Survival Ascended!

For an upgrade that was promised to be completely FREE. The team are now stabbing players in the back and are going to charge a BUCKET load of cash for the UE5 upgrade. They even call it a totally different name (although the game is the SAME as Survival Evolved) just so that they can get away with calling it a completely different game and hence being able to charge people for it.

I hereby propose that ALL Ark: Survival Evolved players BOYCOTT this game until Wildcard reverse their decision and go back to their original promise of releasing this upgrade for FREE. Yes FREE not 80 bloody dollars! But FREE!

I also suggest downvoting Ark:Survival Evolved to show the disdain that we, as players, have for Wildcard and their treachorous turnaround with the upcoming upgrade!

Wildcard do you really think you will get away with this?

Never said it was all of them. The ones I pick out usually involve faster supplies but it takes the fun out of grind and they run terrible cause the server has to calculate how much resources everyone takes and if there is too much the server has dsync issues. Modded servers have too many bugs. I know what I am talking about. You can clearly see I've been playing this game for a long time.

I certainly won't be buying it. I called the game a shower of ♥♥♥♥ in 2017 and still standby that sentiment today after playing again for a few hours. Also lol to console users having officials nuked. At least pc has private. Devs need to fuel that crack habit 😂😂😂😂

* Previously a FREE upgrade of the EXISTING game
* Now locked behind a $50 pre-order for Ark 2
* DLC locked behind another $40 (2 x $20)
* Exclusive DLC (probably around $30-40)
* Official servers removed for new game
* Offered as a FOMO deal that only lasts a year, probably won't even get any proper Ark 2 info before then to know if it's worth the pre-order (spoiler: it never is)

You're looking at another $120-130 for Ark 1 AGAIN for something that they previously said would be FREE. This isn't something that should be supported. PLEASE don't pre-order Ark 2 using this ♥♥♥♥♥♥ practice as it'll just entice them to do it with Ark 2 further down the line, or Ark 1 a third time

So did ppl really think the official servers would stay up forever? Might work out if there were monthly cost for them but as of now they are totally free service.
