Mods and General reset everytime load up Ark

Whenever I finish playing in a world with mods installed, the next time I open up Ark all of my mods are reset meaning they have to reinstall as well as all of my general settings have been reset. How to fix?

If some of your settings are exceeding the allowed settings, ark will replace the config file with a fresh default one. It's either that or crash.

Also, don't ever edit config files while the game is running. Those changes will be erased.

Make sure you're editing the correct config files. There's one location you should ever edit, but there are two other folders where it stores the backup clean copies of the default configs. Never ever ever change those.

Kind of hard to tell you how to fix it, if we don't have more information about what you were doing.

Don't link the video, I'm not watching it to see what they say to do. 20 minute long videos to tell you something that could be typed out in one paragraph. They're a huge waste of time.

What is the file location of the config file you were editing, and it's name?

What were the exact settings you were adding? Please paste below.
