it might be cliche, but it's the truth
Truth hurts though doesn't it.
And no because I don't really really give a fork. lol
See mates I actually come from a time period where developers were actually talented enough to update and patch their games with out them actually effecting their mods or breaking their game and making it worse then it was before. Especially games with mod support more importantly. A time period where patches actually did this little thing called game improvements. Ya know fixed bugs and enhanced game play and things of that sort.
So I do find it amazing when I see cliche responses from people trying to justify and fanboy lazy development. It's exactly that same type of mentality that has promoted a lot of what used to be unacceptable behavior and practices back then to the low standard of normalcy and lack of excellence we all now enjoy today. lol It makes me appreciate those times I had back then all that much more.
Point of fact though for the uninformed. The issues with updates breaking mods is hilarious to me because the reality is it was originally said back when this game was still in EA that those issues would be a non-issue for people anymore after the game left it's EA status. So when you all say things like Wildcard is not responsible for keeping your mods working with their patches what your really saying is Wildcard doesn't have to stay true to their word. That's the reality of it. So dab that bit of that truth in with your morning coffee mates. lol Stay safe and have a good one all.
The reason mods break on patches so easily these days is because of house much of the game is now moddable.
I'll need a citation on that EA claim, because I can't imagine a company dumb enough to make that BS claim.
You clearly have no idea how game patching works. The more of a game that can be modded, the more likely patches effect those mods.
So are you gonna go through 1000+ mods to check how they hook to the game code when updating? No i did not think so either. Its mod makes job to fix their mods after updates.
Games are no longer few mb in size to check mod compatibility fast.
tldr if you ♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥ up ppl don't play or pay.
