[Extinction] [HELP] How to handle Red and Violet OSD

Hi,

we are 3 on a Extinction server, and we are currently trying to do the Red OSD, but there's too much corrupted and their levels is too much higher (we have dinos around 100-150, the corrupted are around 220-280) and we don't know how to be stronger enough to survive this OSD, does anyone have tips? (the video I find on youtube shows dinos with a lvl of 500, a lvl I never found or has on any dino).

Same question for the purple OSD.

I understand that breeding can help, but they will never up more than 200 if I start with 2 dinos around 100 right?

Done several purple OSDs and loads of reds. The way we did it was by raising an army of tek rexes (175 in total). All were very high lvl (around 250-300) but with default ♥♥♥♥ saddle. It's really easy at that point, in fact since you don't get centipedes on purple, they're actually easier than red.

You can even encase the OSD in metal walls, that way the wyverns arent a threat any longer.

Supposedly it's easier with gigas, but high lvl tek rexes worked just fine. With full tek gear you can carry infinite amounts btw.

watch one of the better videos about breeding to explain better, but in short, if you get a good base pair then breed up one base male with females that have one high stat role each you can get babies iwht 18-20 pts in a single stat (so 18-20 levels in Stamina, or Melee) and each time you get a baby maxed in a stat like that you breed it into your main line to transfer that stat. In the end you can have babies born at high 300s with 18-20 pts in each of the important stats then level up from there. very effective but takes forever on regular settings. I think I had my tek rexes being born at 378 last time I worked on them - but I gave up at the point I was only logging in to breed and slaughter 99% of the offspring.
