Quetzal Spawn

I know that quetzals are a very very rare dino to find, especially a high lvl one.. Is there any good spawn locations for them on the island or do they kinda just spawn anywhere in the sky?

I have found them in the area where the redwoods meet the green obelisk area, between the volcano and the blue obelisk, and between the red obelisk and the next toe of the footpaw.

I've had decent luck around the red obelisk. Fly from there north east till about the Redwoods and back a few times you'll spot some.

Main spawn is near the red oblick, fly around there every few hours

i find mine almost at the center of the map

Unless it has changed since I did this last, you can kill the quetz near the red ob and wait a couple mins on its spawn location for it to spawn again and just repeat until a high level one spawns to tame.

Sometimes it will respawn outside your view range so if you dont see it after a few min circle the area until you find it.
