Inventory button bug, Please Help!
I've tried taking screenshots to aid in this explanation, but the cursor won't appear, which would defeat the purpose... sorry...
Okay so, in the menu when the mouse cursor is over the buttons they highlight and are clickable right?
Well my Inventory button, I can only click like the top 1/8th of it. Like the space above the font.
Everything else in the game works fine for me (including the other menu buttons), and I'm really wanting to play, but this little bug makes the game extremely frustrating, solely because you need the inventory for everything. Especially while trying to play with a gamepad on my couch, in the dark, on my big screen.
Is there something I can do to fix this?
Or is this just a thing waiting to be patched?
Has anyone else even had this issue?

Yup, this started over a week ago. It doesn't get much attention because most people are playing with a keyboard and mouse and they're used to just hitting "I" to open the inventory. I was getting ready to throw my controller at my TV in frustration over this one. The fact that the controller is stupidly not re-mappable is the only thing getting in the way of an easy work-around.

I recommend you try the solution that worked for me. Search the internet for something called "xpadder". Look for the older free version if you don't want to pay for the newer one. It lets you easily add keystrokes to any button press on the Xbox controller. I don't use the d-pad for quick access to the item slots so I just programmed pressing up on the d-pad to send the "I" keystroke. I also programmed pressing down to send the "F" key to open the dinos inventory while I'm riding it. Now I never have to bring up the menu to access the inventory.

It's a really wonky workaround but it kept me from pulling my hair out.

I have Pinnacle Game Profiler. I may consider using it. I haven't played much to get too invested yet, so I may wait for a fix. It's kinda BS they haven't at least acknowledged it...

I did a bit of gogling and found a workaround. You can hold B buton and open the inventory from the wheel.
Works for me, though they should fix the bug. And perhaps provide better control explanations...
